Hi, I'm Devan! I was born to cater to animals, and luckily grew up with plentiful opportunities to care for almost every kind, size, and age you could imagine - including dogs, cats, reptiles, ferrets, fish, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, and koi ponds. I’d love to utilize my experience to help you & spoil your pet with the level of care they deserve - some of my skills include XL/Giant breed specific expertise & handling, extensive brachycephalic breed experience, administering medication (orally, topically, opthalmically, auricularly), performing appropriate surgery aftercare for orthopedic injuries, & various different eye surgeries. During my time volunteering with the Jefferson County Humane Society, I took a special interest in canine psychology & body language, and training using positive reinforcement methods - which I believe to be the gold standard. I have had experience with a wide range of behavioral issues from fear aggression, HA/DA, high prey drive, resource guarding, anxiety, and bite risk/history in dogs - however, if that any of that applies to your dog please be forthcoming so I can navigate my care accordingly. I'm also very environmentally conscious, and do not use any toxic, heavily fragranced cleaners, candles, cat litter, or products in my home. You can rest assured that your pet will be treated like my own beloved fur children while in my care!
