My family has always had a pet dog in the house. I learned how to take care of dogs from my mother who is very loving and caring. We have also rescued and fostered many dogs and helped them find good homes. After high school, I started taking care of my friends' dogs to help them out when they weren't available and to make some extra cash (it is a good job for a college student). I've been told that my friends would come to me because they knew how good I am with dogs. During the summer, I will be available almost all of the time. In August, when college starts again, I will be available only at certain times throughout the day, however, in the evenings and on the weekends, I will have more availability.
