The first time Destiny sat for my puppy was actually this past Holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years). We are neighbors and she was so elated once she met my new puppy (I got Luna in October at 8 weeks old). She told me how she had been preparing for her own puppy who she would receive in December, and asked if she could practice some of her positive reinforcement with Luna. After watching her work, and having her share all of her safe training tricks with me, I knew I could trust her to drop in on my Luna while I traveled over the holiday season (I didn’t want to expose Luna to the airplane since she hadn’t had all her vaccinations). I honestly believe Destiny has taught her half of the commands she knows! Pure luck that I met her, but definitely will keep her around. It is also a plus that she makes a habit of bringing disinfectant wipes when she comes over and wipes all the areas she has come into contact with to take extra precautions against COVID.

My dog Thor absolutely loves Destiny! Before she puppy sat my dog, she called to ask if he had any food allergies or if there was a particular brand of treats I liked to use. She always greets Thor with these Freeze Dried treats she has and he goes absolutely nuts over her. I started calling her the treat lady, and now everytime I mention that name, Thor goes bonkers. Destiny’s energy has to be unmatched because whenever I come home after she has walked him, he is absolutely pooped. Even doggy day care doesn’t tire him out like that.
