🐶 A dog is a man’s best friend 🧡

Pet care experience

• I obtained my first canine companion at the age of 15, and since then, my furry family has continued to expand. • Dogs hold a special place in my heart; I diligently ensure their cleanliness and nourishment, and occasionally, they accompany me to my workplace. • I serve as a kennel tech at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I sometimes bring the larger dogs with me to help them expend their energy. We also have a pet hospital apart of the building! I work 6am -3:30 shifts, or I work 8-6:30. We can discuss schedules and I can let y'all know what times I would be spending with your pet(s)! • In addition to my canine companions, I have also provided care for feline friends, including administering medication, feeding, and tending to their litter boxes. • These feline care responsibilities are also part of my job description. • I've had the pleasure of caring for reptiles as well, as I am the proud owner of two of them. My affection for animals knows no bounds; I hold a deep appreciation for all types of pets.

Destiny did an amazing job taking care of our home, pups, and kitten. She was communicative, sent lots of pictures, and went above and beyond in caring for them and our home. We are really impressed with her services and would be happy to have her take care of them again. Thank you!

We used Destiny for the first time and were very happy with her work. Our pups, Louie and Bella were well cared for. They looked like they were having a lot of fun on the updated pics and videos she shared with us during her stay. I highly recommend Destiny as we will not hesitate to use her again. Thanks Destiny. Our boy has unique needs, he has separation anxiety and excess energy to burn. Destiny understood those needs and did a great job. She even came over a couple of times to meet him before staying with him for a week. She took care of him and our home. Thanks for everything Destiny!

I've been employed at Intermountain Pet Hospital since 2020, where I held the position of Day Camp Coordinator. Over this time, I've gained extensive experience working with animals. I've successfully handled reactive dogs and established strong bonds with them. I recently stepped down from the coordinator position. I know am a kennel tech/shift leader. Proficient in interpreting dogs' body language, I've also managed dogs in boarding situations. My skills include administering medication, ensuring proper feeding, and monitoring their overall health – this applies to cats as well. Hydration is a top priority for me. In addition to my professional experience, I have multiple high-energy dogs of my own. My abundant experience and deep affection for dogs shine through in my work!

Information Destiny B. would like to know about your pet

Important information to gather beforehand includes their age, their favorite activities for fun, their comfort level with new people entering their home, any known allergies or dietary restrictions, their level of protectiveness towards their owner, and any potential aggression towards others. Additionally, it's essential to know if they require medication or have any existing health concerns. Emergency Contacts: I would like to have emergency contact information, the owner's phone number and an alternate contact, in case of unforeseen situations. Vet Information: I would like the name and contact information for your dog's veterinarian, as well as any recent vaccination records. This is important for any medical emergencies. Routine and Schedule: I would like to know your dog's daily routine, preferred walking or exercise times, and any specific dietary instructions or meal schedules they follow. Behavioral Triggers: Inquire about any specific triggers or situations that may cause anxiety or aggression in your dog, as well as any strategies the owner uses to manage these behaviors. Comfort Items: I would like to know if your dog has any favorite toys, blankets, or other comfort items that can help ease their transition while staying with them.

A typical day

I can adapt to either a relaxed or an active day, depending on your dog's temperament. I come prepared for hikes with all the necessary equipment, or if your dog prefers, we can enjoy a cozy Netflix session together.
