Not what I expected. I paid $680 for my dogs to have company while away for a week. The sitter was there early in the morning (left before 7am) and came late at night (930-10 pm) to sleep. I expected someone spend some quality time with them. I told her they were fine while she worked, but I wanted someone there with them in the evenings/night to help with loneliness. She came and fed them around 5 pm and took off until around 10 pm-not cool. I came home to a house full of urine which is what happens with the boy dogs are anxious, upset, and lonely. My littlest dog had a corneal abrasion and had to be taken to the vet the next morning. I had to send my neighbor over to check on the dogs because I was not getting updates-they were home alone at 930 pm. I asked for daily pictures and updates (didn't happen). It was a disappointing first rover experience. It made my trip stressful and coming home bad. I had to pay a lot more money to a stranger for worse care than my neighbor provides and then had a vet bill also. I think she was over extended with other obligations and should not have agreed to this job. She seems nice enough, but it was not a good experience for me or my dogs.
