Pet care experience
I always grew up having and loving a multitude of animals and officially got our own bulldog baby in 2011. We then rescued a cat, got another bulldog, and then went through the hard decision of putting our first to sleep after suffering from a spinal tumor. We’ve now rescued another 7 year old who is as loving as ever. I am no stranger to medications as all of them have been through surgeries, allergies... you name it! I suppose that’s what you sign up for with bulldogs. :) I treat my pets like they are my children, and would do absolutely anything for them. If I could rescue them all I certainly would!

Desiree is the most caring and loving person I know when it comes to animals. All dogs that cross her path automatically warm up to her. She is loyal, trustworthy and would be the first person I'd recommend for helping care for your animal.

I currently do not know that I will provide services in my home, only because our new rescued dog is still getting to know our currrnt pets and environment. There are times that they stay at my parents when my parents want them over (they are basically their grand children, ha!) so on those days I wouldn’t be opposed to an impromptu stay at my house. I have a fenced in yard, the sweetest cat in the world, and plenty of places to snuggle up!

I don't have a preference on breed, I'd just prefer to know their personality and preferences they may have. I want to care for them the same way you would so that feel most comfortable.
A typical day
I like to let the pet lead the way! If we are on walks, I like to let them choose the route and get the most out of their adventure. During drop in visits, if they have a routine of playing with a certain toy, I'm happy to accommodate for what makes them happy and comfortable. If they just like to sit and relax, that makes two of us! Ha.

Availability
My current work schedule, to be honest with you, is all over the place. I never work weekends but each week changes what days I may work M-F. I do know that I’m always available before 9am, and typically after 6, and then most hours on Saturday and Sunday with random days of through the week.
