My husband and I moved to San Diego in July 2019, for his job (doctor at Scripps) and we both love dogs. I worked as a dog sitter for Rover back in Portland, Oregon and we both have had dogs our entire lives. I work from home with set work hours of Tuesday-Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Before and after my work schedule, I take each dog on a walk, head to Dog Beach, Torrey Pines Dog park (close to my home), or go on a hike. I love being active especially when it includes a furry friend. During my 11AM to 6:00 PM work shift I can let dogs out to play or simply for a potty break. Dogs are supervised at all times.

I LOVE Desiree! She has been an absolutely life saver! She took care of our dog, Penny, over the holidays. We received photos of frequent walks and she was great at communicating. Desiree even gave us a little gift of homemade organic dog treats upon pickup. Highly recommend her!

We were nervous when leaving our puppy for the first time. Desiree went above and beyond in her communication with us. We received lots of photos of Tank on our trip and knew we made the right choice. Desiree has one rescue dog of her own who is great and loves to play with Tank. You can tell she loves dogs!
Desiree was kind enough to take my two large labs on a Saturday, and yet she made me feel like she was excited to spend the day with them. She threw a ball for over an hour for them and they were calm and tired when they came home. I was so sorry to hear that she is moving to San Diego! Desiree has such a calm but friendly demeanor that people and dogs must love her.
