Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician, so I am very well versed in all aspects of pet care. We do have children, the youngest, six years old; so the dog must be friendly with children. We would like to set up a meet and greet with all dogs before they stay with us. We also have a 2 year old black lab mix who is super friendly-loves to run around and play! She loves the company of other dogs. We have use pet sitters on Rover and it worked out so well; so now we would love to be your favorite go-to sitter! Our pup will thank you- and so will our kids. They love dogs!

We have a large fenced yard for the pups to run around in. We do have gates up by our main level inside which allows the pups to have free range of the main level. Our dog is crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night and is in her crate if we have to leave the house. We do prefer if your dog is used to their crate and that you bring it with you- especially if your dog tends to get into things. We do have small children, so there are smaller 'toys' around that your dog may not be used to. Crate trained dogs are preferred for this reason. We will consider dogs not crate trained on a case by case basis. We do not host dogs with poor manners, destructive behavior, or with house training issues. We do not host dogs that have any aggression at all especially since we have small children.

Let me know how your dog reacts to other dogs on walks and how they walk- do you use a harness, gentle leader etc. Also let me know if they are crate trained and are used to children etc. We do not have a cat.
A typical day
First thing after breakfast is a walk or a run around in the backyard. We cater what we do depending on what your dog likes. We are active and go on multiple long walks- rain or shine.

I work full time from home. We are a very active family and walk a lot. We enjoy hiking and swimming and all kinds of sports! Your dog will have so much fun and have a lot of company and we take them with us on daily adventures if you like!
