Pet care experience
I am a caring, reliable and responsible animal lover. I am home full time and love spending my time playing tennis, exercising and pet sitting/walking. I am trustworthy; my availability is flexible, and I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all personality types. We have an adorable chocolate labradoodle named Ellie at home and a rescue cat named Dash. I will keep you updated every visit with texts and pictures so you know that your pet and your home are safe. I’m also happy to help with your mail and plants or whatever else you need if you’re away for an extended period. My kids (11 & 13) are also animal lovers. They are the reason we started doing Rover. It has been such a fun first job for them this past year or so! Their availability is more limited than mine, but if they are available and you’re interested, they would love to come walk/play/interact with your animals also, with my supervision.

Desiree and her entire family were so loving and caring to my 8 month old puppy! She was easy to contact and was in contact with me frequently. Her children and husband were so sweet to follow Nixon’s routines thoroughly. I would highly recommend Desiree! My pup was so happy, we will definitely be using her again!
I don’t like to leave our pet behind when we travel, but sometimes there’s no other option. I’m so happy I found Desiree and her family for those situations! Our dog was comfortable the minute she walked through the door, no stress or anxiety about us leaving, probably because she could tell immediately that Desiree truly loves animals. Desiree treated her like one of her own and sent updates and photos throughout the stay. I have never been so relaxed about leaving my pet behind, and I have no stress about future travel plans when it comes to boarding our pet!
Desiree and her family took wonderful care of Charlie. The drop off/pick up went very smoothly. We received updates and information on how Charlie was doing. We greatly appreciate everything. We would not hesitate to take Charlie back in the future. Thanks so much! -Eric and LaVonne
Desiree is a huge animal lover. She has dogs and cats of her own and was raised with dogs and even had a pet pig in high school. I have know Des for almost 30 years and would totally trust her with my own fur babies. She is a huge believer in getting fur babies their exercise and brushes out her dog, Ellie regularly. Even while she herself is traveling and has to leave her own fur baby at a kennel she would make it a point to visit them daily and to exercise them herself. She is an amazing caregiver and I HIGHLY recommend her.
