Six Years of Giant Breed Experience
Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was thirteen and have loved dogs ever since. My love for dogs took me on a journey to learning all about different breeds and I have had experience watching dogs from the smallest to the biggest! In 2013, I brought home a Great Dane puppy and have been obsessed with giant breeds ever since. In 2014 I began working at Acme Canine in Lewis Center. There I received experience walking, feeding and giving medication to all breeds of dogs. I was also taught on how to properly train a puppy to walk on a lead. It was a great experience. I now own two Great Danes and two cats, and I hope to love on other dogs in the area as well. You can't have too many doggy kisses!

Desiree is a proud owner of two great danes. She is a very responsible and loving dog owner and goes over and above to take especially good care of them. She has done pet-sitting for our granddaughter's Husky and took remarkable care of her as well. I would highly recommend her to care for your pets as well.

I live on five acres of land that sits right on Hoover. The land is not fenced in, but I have a long lead in gravel for your pet to potty. If you are comfortable with it, your dog can run the land with my two Danes. If not, there is a long gravel driveway where your dog can be walked a few times a day. Inside, I have the kitchen area blocked off for our Danes since our children are so small. There is a toddler bed, toys and a bowl of water for free drinking. My children are two and eleven months old, and they love dogs! My two female Danes (both fixed) absolutely love any size of dog. They are both incredibly friendly, but play a tad bit rough with dogs their size. If you have a smaller dog and prefer them to not be around the Danes, we have another place for them to stay in my home.

I will need to know if your dog gets along with children as I have two. My daughters are two years old and eleven months old. They both adore dogs! I absolutely love large breed dogs, but I'm comfortable with any size and breed.
A typical day
I have a long gravel driveway where most of our walks will take place. There is also a park near by called McNamara Park that has a long trail.

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mother, so your pet will be with someone almost all hours of the day! Once in a while I may be gone for a few hours for an appointment or grocery shopping, but your pet will never be left alone more than four hours at a time.
