Pet care experience
Our family lost our beloved 15 year old dog in December 2019. Since then we have missed having a dog around to play with and love on. If your pet would love to be around kids (we have four kiddos ages 5-15) and run and play in a fully fenced yard we would love to host your sweet dog. We love hosting Rover dogs and giving them a home away from home experience! We were only able to kennel our dog when family wasn’t available because he was unsure around new people or other dogs, it wasn’t a great experience. Being able to provide dogs with a loving home where they are treated like family while owners are away is very rewarding for us. You will receive lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay so you will never be wondering how they are doing. We only host one client at a time so that your dog/dogs can feel most comfortable and relaxed. My 8 year old has a particular love for dogs and looks forward to each new dog we care for.

Desiree is wonderful. She’s watched our big guy several times now. I find that my mind is at ease when we’re away because I know that he’s being cared for so well. She sends me picture updates throughout the day and responds very quickly when I check in. We love her and I know Zuko loves her and the family too. He doesn’t even say goodbye when he gets dropped off 😂
Desiree and her family are wonderful - I know George is in great hands when I leave him with her! He has so much fun I’m not sure he wants to come home! 😂 She sends lots of pictures and updates. Highly recommend Desiree! :)

We were so pleased with our first Rover experience. Desiree was amazing! She sent pictures and updates every day. We knew our dog was getting the best care, love and attention. We could tell Moose absolutely loved his time with Desiree and her family. I don't even think he wanted to go back home after having so much fun there.

We have a fully fenced large backyard and live in a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood with little traffic and sidewalks.. Our home is air conditioned. Your pet will have many options on where they would like to hang out or sleep at night, and my kids gladly welcome pups into their bed if they would like. We do not kennel dogs unless we are asked to by their owners if they are use to it for sleep or when we leave the house.

Please let me know how to make your dog feel most at home. Where they usually sleep, when they like to eat and how they like to spend their time. Also please let me know of any potential behavior problems or dislikes that they have. This includes any medical problems or special needs your pet may have during their stay. We do have experience caring for senior pets as our beloved Scrappy lived 15 years and had some mobility trouble his last couple years.
A typical day
Your dog will get all the attention they desire and be treated like our own while here. With our large backyard and active family we are sure to keep them physically and mentally exercised!

Either my husband or I am always home with our children. I'm a registered nurse who works just two days a week. If I am not home my husband is. We homeschool so our children are always around to play as well.
