Pet care experience
I am an avid animal lover, enjoyer of walks in the National Arboretum, and pretty skilled eater, haha. I grew up with family cats and dogs and now have a cat, Lincoln, with my partner. Sadly, Lillian Buckets has since crossed over the rainbow bridge. I'd love to meet your cute floof and help provide some needed attention. As we all know, our pets rule the roost!

Desiree was great! My cat immediately warmed to her, and she went above and beyond in bringing in a large package unasked.
Desiree looked after our cat, Felix while we were away for about a week. Felix requires a shot twice a day, which can be a challenge. Desiree was ABSOLUTELY amazing! She did drop ins with Felix twice a day, gave him his shots, and gave us detailed updates each day. It was so comforting to know Felix was in such good hands. Thank you Desiree for taking such great care of Felix!!
I have known Desiree for 10 years and throughout those years I have never seen anything other than love from her towards animals - whether her own or someone else’s. I would absolutely trust my own pets with her as well as recommend my friends to her. She not only has the experience in taking care of animals but also the never ending love and compassion for our furry friends that we all hope they receive when we are not there with them.
Desiree’s love for animals is evident through her unconditional devotion to her own pets, her friends’ pets, and just about any animal she comes across in her day-to-day. She has a strong intuition for what animals need from her, and stops at nothing to put their well-being first. Desiree inspired me to become a dog owner myself, after seeing how she was able to manage her pets in a city while working a full time job. Animals love Desiree as much as she loves them, and you’d be lucky to have her as your pet’s caregiver!

A typical day
I love to take your dog out on walks, going at their pace (or the one you recommend) and letting them sniff to their hearts content. If they have a lot of energy, i'm happy to run with them. If they are on the senior side, I'll let them lead the way!

I'm available for morning and evening walks + drop ins during the week. During weekends when i'm in town, i'm available to cater to your pet's every whim!
