Pet care experience
I'm a new resident of Salt Lake City (3/30/24). I'm looking to supplement my income doing something I love anyway, which is spending time with fur babies. I was a fur mother (cat - 2003 to 2015) and I've petsit several of my godkitties and doggies.

Desiree is an enthusiastic lover of pets! She was also the longtime owner of an adorable calico cat named "Reeses" who would collapse at your feet so you could more easily pet her. I have known Desiree over 20 years, and during that time have been entertained by countless anecdotes ( and photos! ) about the new cats or dogs she has met. She is the only person I know who carries high-quality dog treats when she runs errands in case she sees one of her "regulars" with their human. It especially makes her day if she meets a new fur-friend. Desiree is kind with animals, and is both conscientious and responsible in her actions.
Desiree was our cat-sitter for the three years we were neighbors. She was very attentive, followed our guidelines perfectly, and most importantly was very sweet with our cat Dan, he loves her! She is great with animals and we felt very secure in entrusting our home and furry child into her care. Every dog owner and dog in the neighborhood loves her as well, she is great with animals overall and a great candidate as a pet caregiver.
Desiree is a loving and attentive pet sitter! My dog Willow an absolutely adores her and loves spending time with her. Desiree is great with my pup on walks, and knows what to do when new dogs are around. She is caring and goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is safe & happy. We love her!

I've never been a professional pet sitter, but I have been a fur mother. My kitty was with me from 2003-2015, when she passed on to Heaven. She was my whole world, and is the name sake of my jewelry business. I've petsit my god kitties NUMEROUS times, for days at a time, and I've babysat my goddoggies here and there. I have references and pics and videos of our time together. My godkitty Dan and I used to watch Dateline NBC and eat catachinos together, and I'd do that with my goddoggies too!

I'm a new pet sitter, but I'm around dogs and/or cats everyday. I've cared for my friends' animals to their parents specifications and I can do that for you. Tell me what to expect ahead of time and I'll care for your fur baby accordingly.
A typical day
Walk outside around the neighborhood, play, get puppachinos (if they're allowed to have them), snuggle, and give lots of scratches, rubs and kisses and even talk to them.

I just moved to SLC and am looking for a day job, but in the meantime, I can pet sit or walk M-Su, after that time, I can do weekends.
