Hi! I am a friendly, animal-loving 3rd year doctoral student of Physical Therapy who would love to look after your pets when you need someone very reliable you can count on. I would love to utilize my passion for animals with my free time while I am off for the summer! I have done a lot of pet sitting over the years and have had animals of my own, but this is my first time using Rover as I have just discovered it from a friend. I adore all animals and wouldn't mind if you also had a cat or another type of animal needing care. I'll water your plants and whatever else you need while you are away as well. I walk or run 8-10 miles per day (broken up into sets throughout the day) and it would be great to have a dog or two to enjoy my walks with! As a student who goes on clinical rotations during the school year, it isn't feasible for me to have my own pets so I am missing having animal companionship and would love to help you out when you need someone to care for yours. As a physical therapy student, we have even studied animals and their biomechanics and gait patterns and I plan on learning dog CPR in the coming weeks. I have worked with special needs dogs in the past (one with a seizure disorder) and I am comfortable giving oral medications. Availability: I am available anytime day or night from June 7th through August 14th, 2017. After August 14th, I will be available evenings and weekends only as I will be starting my next clinical rotation. Areas served: For overnights I can travel a little further if I am staying in your home, but for daily check ins and dog walks I prefer only residents of Eugene or Springfield.
