Hi there, I’m Des! I’ve had animals my whole life ranging from cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, fish & horses. My husband & I currently have 4 cats & care for 2 stray cat colonies in our neighborhood. Just recently I lost my best friend Nelly, my 14 year old lab mix. I have dealt with lots of different circumstances based on the individual animal needs, including caring for a diabetic cat who we gave insulin twice a day for 3 years. I’m here to take care of your fur babies and to put your mind at ease.

Des took care of my cat and my dog before she joined Rover and was the best. She's very friendly and asked all of the right questions for both of my pets. She was even able to pill my cat when she needed medication. Highly recommend.

When bringing a new furry friend into our home, we separate our cats to ensure we keep stress levels low for all parties. We have plenty of back up crates and carriers, a fully fenced in backyard, and a separate room for pet guests if needed. I have experience with leash training for any dogs I take on walks and can also administer pills or medications for cats/dogs if needed.

A typical day
Each pet is different so I like to tailor the days to each of their needs and abilities. I live near City Park which is always a fun option for active dogs or our fenced in backyard is perfect for laid back play or enjoying the sun. With the pet parents permission, I love to spoil with lots of treats and toys!

I am currently working side gigs to fill up my time as I work in the film industry and have been unemployed for a few months due to the strikes. I love animals so thought this would be a great idea!
