... that's what your pup will have while staying with me! About me: Just moved to Houston! My entire upbringing has always included animals, including pet cats, dogs, fish, and horses. I started riding horses at a very young age and continued to ride for 10 years, even training horses during that time I am super active and exercise daily. I am happy to keep your pet happy, healthy and fit! I enjoy the outdoors and spend a great deal of time getting exercise outside with my dog. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from a newborn border collie to a fully grown chihuahuaMy love of animals has led me to enjoy caring for all in need and making this a profession. I will be incredibly attentive to you and your dog's needs and make sure that your dog has a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I moved to Atlanta in May of 2018 from D.C. and look forward to meeting new clients and critters. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies in person. About our home: We live in the apartment complex at the Battery, right by Suntrust Park. I have 1 dog that is an indoor/outdoor kinda guy. We have a large balcony overlooking the pool for our pup and guests to go out on as they please (but can keep it closed if you prefer). We have hardwood floors and several dog beds throughout the apartment, as well as a couch that our dog considers his own dog bed. My 6-month-old puppy, Roosevelt (a mini Goldendoodle) LOVES other doggies and especially loves showing them his neighborhood - walking through the Battery at Suntrust Park. We have a large dog park area, and are super close to other dog parks, as well as the Chattahoochee river trail. But he typically likes to show his new friends around, walking through the exciting Battery, or the near-by Chattahoochee River trail. Or, if your dog prefers, we opt for quiet walks away from shops. Really, whatever your pup prefers! Most of the apartment is free for your dog/s to feel at home in and, should any dog/s need to be separated, the apartment's designed is well equipped for doing this. Why I love dog sitting: I started dog sitting and walking for my neighbors (on top of caring for my own family’s dog) when I was 8 years old and I’ve been in love with all animals ever since I was born. I love meeting new dogs and catering to each one’s particular needs. I know every dog is unique and I find learning more about different breed types to be fascinating!
