Pet care experience
As an owner of a Rottweiler, I have no reservations working with dogs of all sizes and characteristics. I feel confident caring for and working with small to giant breeds. I have experience working with flat collars, head collars, prong collars, and e-collars and know how to use each properly. As a person who believes that dogs are better than humans, you can be sure that I will take the best care of your fur baby. I've worked with dog trainers for two years and feel confident maintaining proper leash behavior. Muzzled dogs are also welcome! There is no discrimination here! I'm also experienced in kibble, fresh, and raw feeding and will make sure to follow your dog's dietary guidelines without any reservations. There are no bad dogs! I would feel confident working with bigger, working dog breeds that people shy away from.

Derya is AMAZING!! I have 68lb Siberian Husky and needed a someone to take him on hour long walks daily to really exert his energy. Finding the right person capable of doing was a big deal. Derya really made me comfortable taking a 5 day vacation. My dog literally can’t survive 3days without me the most dramatic type. This kept my home free of accidents and no stress flare up. He’s a sensitive pooch. I received daily pics and updates. Next time I go away or need a break Derya will be my first go to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars

I have a fenced in yard and am a dog mom to an extremely dog-friendly Rottweiler. If your dog needs space, I have gates in my house that separate the different living spaces, so your pup can have his/her own space away from my dog and other people. I have space for a large crate, if needed. Dogs are allowed on our downstairs living room furniture.

Please let me know if your dog requires a special diet or has specific needs during walks. I can accommodate any diets (including raw) and can give oral medication, if needed. Please also let me know if your dog is reactive towards people, cars, or other animals so I can safely walk them and know what to expect. I do not mind walking dogs who struggle with reactivity!
A typical day
I believe in providing both physical and mental stimulation for dogs! You can expect your pup to have plenty of time outdoors, if that is what they enjoy. I have plenty of toys, including balls, flirt poles, bite pillows, etc., that your dog will have access to during his/her stay with me. I also have sniff matts, puzzles, slow feeders, and interactive feeders that will enrich your dog's brain and keep them happy and occupied. Because of my experience working with professional dog trainers, I can also work on basic commands with your dog, if you would like!

As a teacher, I will be home during the summer and can put all of my time and attention into caring for your pup! I am always free on weekends!
