Pet care experience
I am a dog enthusiast and have grown up with dogs since I was an infant. I love all dogs of all sizes. My wife and I have a 1 year old Golden Irish puppy named Ruby. We also currently have a cat, Marley, that has brought so much joy into our lives for the past two years. I tend to befriend animals quite easily and love providing endless pets, scratches, play, and any other pet care needs. Pets are family and deserve to be treated as such!

I've watched him interact with dogs of various breeds for almost 30 years and can attest that he is a perfect candidate for being a pet care giver. He also grew up near a farm, and is familiar with all types of animals, and has shown that his compassion for animals is as great as it is for people. Derrick has cared for our dogs in the past and has proven that he is responsible and attentive.
Derrick is very reliable and trustworthy! He is great with following instructions that were left for the care of the animal and made sure to update me with how the pets were doing! I would highly recommend.

A typical day
I will provide ample physical and mental stimulation to your dog. I live in an area with numerous walking paths and parks of varying distance and business for walks and stimulation. I also reside near several enclosed dog parks to utilize for additional running, play, and socialization as indicated. I also particularly enjoy throwing tennis balls and other objects for dogs that like to fetch and have an assortment of other toys that can be utilized!

Availability
I currently work a staggered schedule of longer (2x/wk) and shorter days (3x/wk) and do not work on weekends. On the shorter days, I am generally free after 3:00 p.m. and can be available most weekends.
