Pet care experience
I’ve been with Rover since 2015 and have loved being around animals since I was a child with many dogs and cats as well. Being around dogs is my passion and I enjoy every furry encounter.

Derek is awesome! He is one of the very best people to leave your dog with - he is so great with our Roger - playful, responsible, always responds to questions, sends hilarious videos and photos of our boy. We can't wait for Roger to hang with Derek again. Do not hesitate to book Derek! We already tipped him in person which he so appreciated.
This was one of the most awesome experiences ever. Derek was wonderful from the beginning to the end accommodating every other way possible. He was wonderful with our two dogs. he sent periodic pictures of their dog walks and dog kisses. Even when our plane was late, he stayed up late and accommodated me to pick up the dog at 10 PM. as a character, he is calm and friendly. All in all this was a stellar experience. thank you Derek from the bottom of my heart.
Derek was so kind and attentive to Dobby! He was really good about sending pics/videos and updates so I wasnt worried at all. Dobby seemed to be having a blast with him! Highly recommend
Derek was attuned to my cranky senior dog and made him very comfortable.

I care for pets by making sure their diet and any other duties according to the owner is properly exercised. I go for 5+ hour/5+ mile hikes often with the dogs to Griffith Park (Observatory, Hollywood Sign etc.) and walk/runs to Echo Park Lake & La Live Dog Park.

A typical day
I'm very hands on and playful with animals. On average we do around 4+ walks per day but could be outside 2+ hours going to the park. Most enjoy being outside as do I so that’s where we spend a lot of time.

I overnight board and dog walk full-time, cats as well! Your furry family will have me close by to take care of them the entire stay as it is my full-time job:) My day revolves around walking your pup and giving unending attention back and forth.
