Pet care experience
I have over 17 years experience caring for/raising dogs. I have been a "dog lover" my entire life. I got a job at a pet grooming parlor when I was 15 and enjoyed every moment. Your dog will feel right at home! No dog is too big (or small). I don't have a fenced in yard but I live in a quiet neighborhood and enjoy taking walks regularly. Your pet is sure to receive plenty of attention and exercise. I've known Derek his entire life. I remember him always having a love, appreciation and respect for dogs. He's spent a lot of time with my dog and helping care for him and I've always been very impressed with the way he handles my dog's temperament. There is a respect dogs seem to have for Derek as he shows the same respect to them. Derek is at the top of my list for preferred pet-sitter! I know my Bear would always be in good hands with him.
Derek and a friend worked as a team with our pets. They were the most caring especially with our bunny rabbit Marsha and dog Louie. Walked both of them daily. He has so much compassion for animals, he would be a perfect dog sitter. He is an all around animal lover.............Great Caregiver.
Derek is one of the most caring people I know toward people as well as dogs. I like dogs, but Derek has a heart for them. I wish I had gotten that gene. His gentle touch and putting their needs first is truly an aspiring trait for us all.
