Pet care experience
I grew up training bird hunting Labradors with my father. From that experience I learned how to train dogs with verbal and also visible hand signals. I have years of animal shelter volunteering, and I also used to work in an animal hospital providing overnight care for the emergency patients that needed around the clock support. I have an amazing dog named Winter, that loves having company over and can't wait to meet new furry friends!

Derek is more than a 5 star pet sitter! He’s trustworthy and makes sure my dog has a good time. Digby loves going to daycare and probably could find Derek’s house with his eyes closed.
We have been with Derek for more than a month and drop off our puppy every week. He is attentive and kind to our puppy! He has a great large backyard for our puppy to run around in, he takes our puppy for walks despite some times our puppy might not want to. His dog is very gentle with our puppy and well behaved! We hope to continue having Derek be our go to sitter!

I have a fenced back yard for play time and potty breaks, as well as a powerline trail for close by outdoor walks. I do not have a crate, so if your dogs prefer to spend time sleeping or napping in their crate I ask that you provide that.
