Hey pet lovers! My name is Derek. I have over a decade of taking care of dogs (and cats) from shelters and abused backgrounds. This began as I helped raise the family dog, Sophie; who came from an abusive owner and was genuinely scared of males to the families' second dog, Honey; who was a rescue from another abusive home. Over my years of experience, I have worked with and taken care of every size and personality type of dog along with their affinity to dealing with new people. If your companion needs special care or is initially nervous/aggressive of new people, please let me know so we can set up an introduction with the companion so s/he may get out the jitters ahead of time and then become comfortable with me. I'm extremely patient and will accommodate companions with special needs for no extra charge, just let me know in advance so I can accommodate properly. If you are looking for a young man with the compassion and love for you family companion, hire me! Whether it's feeding and walking (my favorite activity) or just general companionship, I provide the highest quality care for your family companion as I would my own. I am accustom to handling dogs with unique walking/feeding habits so please make any such preferences known to me so I can give your companion the care they prefer. I am currently available as often as possible! If you would like to hire my for full days, I am completely available and ready to handle such tasks. This includes, but is not limited to; cleaning, gardening and other such tasks around your house. I'm available to be a live-in caretaker if need be. If you have other creatures you would like me to take care of, please let me know and we can discuss what I can do to help! At the end of the day, I love animals and taking care of them is intrinsically valuable to me.
