An avid dog lover my whole life, I truly believe dog is mans best friend! I have been around dogs my whole life since childhood so I am confidently in touch with my canine senses and can pick up on a dog's signals and patterns when attempting to convey their needs, wants, and desires.

Derek was very caring and diligent with my two dogs. He handles the animals respectfully as if they were his own. He followed my instructions I left out and my dogs really gravitated towards him. I think he would be a great candidate for your company. He has dogs of his own and it shows through his work.
I've known Derek for approx. 6 years and have full trust in his care for other dogs. He is also a proud dog dad to 2 incredible pets. He is someone I can trust with my 4 dogs including one senior when I go out of town & follows each of their daily routines.

Whenever I am out of town and need a dog-sitter for overnight I would always let my Davinci stay with Derek. Davinci always had a fun time playing with his other dog Bella and Derek always sent me pictures and videos of them playing and having a good time. He’s good with taking Davinci out for walks and making sure to tend to his high energy level. Davinci is picky with treats so I was satisfied and impressed when Davinci would accept treats from him. Very reliable and accountable for overnight stays.

I live in a gated apartment complex so if you drop off your pet for care I am able to give them a nice stroll around the property. I also live 5 minutes away from the Sepulveda Basin Dog Park located on 17550 Victory Boulevard, Encino Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406 for fun times at the dog park if running around is their desired recreational fun. If you need to leave your pet for the whole day at my place or even overnight I have a full guest room that is available for your dog as well. Your dog is welcome to sit and sleep on the couch & bed if they are used to that instead of the floor, and I can even stay in the same room with them overnight for comfort if need be. I have two other small dogs, one is a senior handicapped 12 year old cavapoodle (20lbs) and the other is a 1 year old mixed small dog (10lbs). They don't mind the interaction, but if your dog wants to be left alone I can leave my two dogs in my wife's office while your dog has full liberty and free range of my apartment. If house visits is the service you need I am available for that as well. My house trips will include full-services for your dog including, walks, feeding & play time, trips to where ever they need to go or be, baths if needed, or simply provide comfortable company while you are away for the day. I will provide hourly selfies and videos or any updates at will whenever you request to insure your peace of mind while taking care of your loved one.

Just let me know ahead of time the do's and don'ts for taking care of your loved one, what triggers them, what to avoid, or what special setting or circumstances they need to ensure maximum comfort and care!
A typical day
I will accommodate and tend to any needs you desire for your dog. If your dog loves to run around the park all day, I can do that. If they want to play brain games to find treats or play catch with a ball or chew toy I can do that too. If all your dog wants is to have belly rubs and cuddles I can do that as well!!!

I am currently running full doggy-day/night care services 7 days a week which include dog sitting either at my apartment or your place, walking your pet if they are left at your location, trips to the dog park for fun times and interaction with other dogs if desired (as long as your dog can fit in my prius), baths for small and medium sized dogs ( as long as they can fit in my bathtub) and I do morning and evening stops at your location to make sure breakfast, lunch, or dinner is served and playtime for your dog as well.
