Meet Queenie and Dixie, the loves of my life. This energetic duo introduced me to a rare dog breed, since prior to this I concentrated on caring for our family’s German Shorthair for 17 years. Where Page loved to relax and play, these two Australian Kelpies love walks, hiking, bike rides, and challenging tricks, while also learning their manners. I enjoy the challenge of what the different breeds present. I provide personalized service and dog-walking adventures that will allow me to get to know your dog, no matter the size. I have worked with puppies and dogs for more than 18 years. Let me show you this passion and provide your dog a great exploration. I look forward to meeting and working with your pets!

Never have to wonder how my dog is doing when Derek is caring for her. I know she is in good hands. He is very trustworthy and reliable and my dog loves him.
My husband and I were leaving on a week long trip and had no-one to tend to our dogs. We didn't want to put them in a kennel because we couldn't it at the time and our dogs are older and don't care for change. A family member of ours recommended Derek and we asked him to care for our dogs while we were gone as we've known Derek for many years through said family member. Derek took great care for our furbabies. At one point, he even had to devise a strategic plan to get one of the dogs to come out from underneath a bed. If the time arrises, we will ask Derek to dog-sit for us in the future and would, most definitely, recommend him to others!
