Pet care experience
I grew up in a house full of pets including cats, dogs, horses, birds, rats, goats, and fish! I have also lived with roommates with animals during my time in Boise. Currently I am unable to devote enough time to take care of my own baby, so caring for others’ when I can is a great way to fill the void! My parents have a horse, dog, and two cats back home. I also currently live with a roommate who has a small dog.

Derek was great. He was able to accommodate a last minute request and took great care of our pups for the week.
I trust Derek with just about anything in regard to my animals. I have two cats and one dog and every time he visits my house, they are all over him and for a good reason. He is so good with them, attends to them, takes care of their needs, and simply loves them. I know that if I am ever out of town, he is my first pick for taking care of my babies.
Derek was 8 years old when built our first home and began bringing cats and dogs to be part of our family. Over the years Mitch, Reba, and Ellie have been our canine family members, and Shadow, Jetters, and Miss Kitty our feline family members. Derek has loved, and cared for all of them. Of all our family pets I think Reba was his favorite. He grew up with her and when she died suddenly he was devastated. If you really love somebody that’s a natural response. Derek is a kind, loving person. Not only are people drawn to him but dogs and cats as well. He will treat any pet as if it was his own!

I typically work 8-5 during the week and long weekend shifts (11-10ish). I am more than happy to take time for walks in the evenings or stay overnight to keep your fur babies company.
