Pet care experience
I have had multiple dogs in my family since I was a very young age. I have experience training several puppies and adult dogs and regularly dog sit for friends and neighbors. I currently have a 1.5 year old rescue that we have had since 16 weeks old.

It was our first time using Derek, and I can't say enough about his attentiveness and support. We were nervous to leave our dog, and Derek sent pictures and reassurance at least twice a day. Very friendly and understanding
Derek is the Dog whisperer! My dog (Jack) has major separation anxiety and fear of men and Jack warmed right up to Him! Derek is always sharing new tips and tricks to help with training and I love how passionate he is about not only his dog, but all dogs. Jack loves sprinting around the big back yard and is exhausted every time I take him home. Jack and I would highly recommend Derek and his pup paradise for a weekend getaway!
I consider myself lucky to have found Derek and Jess. They cared for my fur baby Bridget like family. When I picked her up she was clearly a happy well cared for pup. Thank you for your attention to details, it showed!

We have a fully fenced in yard and our dog Duff is super friendly and plays well with dogs of all sizes. We have a crate available if that is what your dog prefers, but will never use the crate unless you specifically ask us to. We allow pets on the furniture within the house, but will enforce any rules you have to not develop any habits that you wouldn't like once your dog returns home.

A typical day
Your dog will enjoy plenty of time running around and playing with our dog Duff in our back yard! We also go on at least 2 long walks per day around the neighborhood or through some local trails. When not playing your dog can expect to get lots of pets and attention in between naps in the house!

My Fiance and I both work from home full-time so someone will always be at the house to look after your dog. We are free most weekends for boarding and during the week as well for daycare if you need someone to look after your dog while you are at work.
