In the last year, we adopted two older pups, one of which suffers from severe arthritis in his back legs and hips. Der has been our go-to dog sitter because she takes the time to cater to our special needs boy by carrying him up and down stairs, putting him up on furniture, etc. She has also dealt with both of their potty-training issues when they inevitably have (sometimes quite terrible) accidents in the home. They are a handful, but I never worry about their well being when they are with Der. She has proven herself to be completely reliable even with the most high maintenance dogs!

I moved to Minnesota 2 years ago with my dog (Gus) and cat (Tino). I moved here for a job that requires travel at least twice a year and I was very nervous about trusting a stranger to live in my home and care for my pets while I was out-of-town. Luckily, I met Der through my work connections and she is wonderful! She is gentle and patient with my pets and with all of my requests for photos and texts of my pets while I am away. Also, when I return home from travel, I am always so relieved to return to calm, relaxed, and happy pets -- not anxious ones who felt abandoned. To me, that is a sign that my animals trust Der too. We are so lucky to have found Der and we highly recommend her for pet/house sitting!
