Hello, I live with my wife, Maria, and our beautiful little girl, Nina, in the Red Mill area of Virginia Beach. We have a golden retriever, Penny, who gets along great with all dogs. I spent 8 years living in Arlington, VA, but we have recently returned home to be closer to family. We would love to host your pup and show him/her all the comforts of your home. We have a large, fenced in yard as well as large green spaces in our neighborhood to give your pup all the exercise they require. We have flexible schedules and will do our best to accommodate any special requests or needs that you or your dog may have. I have lived with and cared for a variety of breeds, small and large, and enjoy the company of all dogs. Meet my pets We recently lost our Golden Retriever, Jacob, to cancer, but we have a new Golden Retriever named Penny. She is 15 month old. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medicines to both cats and dogs.

We could not be happier with our first Rover experience! Dennis and Maria were great, and Dusty seemed to have done very well for the weekend. Will definitely use them again!
My pup came back super happy and relaxed. Dennis was super flexible in pick up and drop off times.
This was Kora's second visit with Dennis. She came home happy and healthy. Kora is a dog that does not like to leave me and typically will only be dragged away from me, tail tucked, while looking back at me as if to say "how could you leave me." I usually have to just turn and disappear before she will resign to being left. However, this did not happen with Dennis. When I dropped off Kora with Dennis, she greeted him with great excitement and walked off with Dennis WITHOUT even looking back at me. And, she was wagging her tail all the way. Okay, I have to say it made my heart a little sad, "are you forgetting me already?" But, I knew from her reaction to Dennis that she had no hesitation spending more time with him and was, in fact, looking forward to her visit. I will not hesitate to leave my girl, Kora, with Dennis again. Thank you Dennis.
Dennis and his fiancé d d a wonderful job taking care of our golden doodle Dilly. She loved playing with their golden retriever and they sent us lots of updates. Thanks again!

Because of our central location, we are never far from home when we go out to run errands.
