Pet care experience
- ABOUT US - Denisse: Speaks English & español 🇪🇨 (Doctoral student) Salsa: Speaks English & عربية 🇵🇸 (Animal Caretaker) HOUSESITTING: As Airbnb hosts, we understand the importance of respectful, clean, responsible guests. As such, housesitting is individual, not together (with or without Sadie is up to you). Sadie will always be groomed prior to any housesit. We prioritize leaving your home better than we found it, and your pet(s) happier than we found them! We both have private insurance as well for pet sitting and house sitting.
Reviews
We are SO thankful we found Denisse and Salsa. They are amazing and went above and beyond to care for Brewster. We are so happy we found them after moving and needing to find a new walker. They sent amazing pictures and videos of Brewster and he looked sooo happy. We would highly recommend them for all your pet needs!!
Denisse and Salsa were AMAZING. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and really went above and beyond for our furbabies! Denisse communicated thoughout the day sending pictures, videos, and updates so we could fully relax on our vacation. She reached out proactively with questions and worked through miscommunication with grace and total understanding. She house sat for us too and made sure our home was taken care of as much as our pets. We walked in after a long flight to music, a clean home, and soft lighting. She even revived our house plant that was on its last leg! We can't say enough good things. Book them today! They were so worth it.
Denisse and Salsa were so great with our shy dog, Cricket. She seemed very content during her 5-day stay and we so appreciated all the pictures and videos they shared while she was there. We highly recommend Denisse & Salsa!!
Denisse and Salsa were wonderful hosts for my dog over a holiday weekend. They were thoughtful, friendly, and provided excellent communication. Really appreciated the pics and videos sent - inspired great confidence that my pup was in good hands. Very pleased with the level of care and would rebook without hesitation. Highly recommended!

- PRE-BOOKING QUESTIONS - Please respond to the prebooking questions when making a request. Additionally, we do require a meet & greet prior to confirming any booking to ensure our pup and your fur baby are a good mix, and that our home meets your needs. You’ll be invited to our home for any boarding request, and we’ll need to see your home for any housesitting, drop-in, or dog walking requests. 1. Is your fur baby house-trained and leash-trained? Most importantly, do they pull on their leash for walks? Are they leash reactive to anything? 2. How often do they use the bathroom? (We go out for three walks, and one quick potty break before bed for adult pups) 3. Are they ever aggressive either at home or on walks? (People, pets, machines, motorcycles, vacuums, etc.) 4. Are there certain parts of their body (e.g. ears, tail, etc.) that makes them upset if you touch it? 5. Do they get along with other dogs? Are there particular sizes, genders, colors, etc. that make them reactive? 6. Are there any particular items that they have a tendency to bite/break that we should be aware of? 7. What is their food schedule and do they get aggressive if another dog/person approaches them while eating? 8. Any unique allergies we should be aware of or any unique dietary rules your pup follows? 9. Are they on any current medications (e.g. flea/tick medicine, heart worm prevention, etc.)? 10. We love going on walking trails, it your baby allowed to join? May they be off-leash? Totally ok if not! 11. Is there anything else that we should know about prior to scheduling a meeting and greet?
A typical day
We follow your routine. Our day with your pup will look how you want it. We love hikes so if your home is close to a trail and your pup(s) are allowed, we’d do that as a bonus for some extra exercise and fun.
