Pet care experience
I owned a dog and a cat while growing up, then dogs and cats of various sizes and breeds since 2000. Have also cared for my son’s snake in the past (lives at his dad’s house now), parakeets, and rabbits.

Denise is my go to for in-home long-term dog cat and chicken sitting. With four dogs four cats and eight chickens, finding a conscientious, loving companion is difficult. But Denise handled everything they threw at her and they love her as their own. In my opinion Denise is hands-down the best house and animal sitter that you could hope to find.
Denise is a very caring person; she has an animal (cat) of her own & has cared for dogs in the past when she was married. She has also cared for my cat & I would trust her to care for my pets (1 cat, 2 birds) in the future. She is very likeable and trustworthy!

A typical day
I’ve participated in animal enrichment training through a former employer and dog obedience training with a previous dog we owned (Alaskan malamute!). I’ve missed owning dogs and look forward to playing with and caring for yours! And I love taking pictures, so expect lots! It’s an honor to earn others’ trust in the care of their pets.

Availability
I enjoy dogs, but my cat does not—let me care for yours! Currently, I’m working Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 PM in Allegan. Weekends are more flexible.
