Pet care experience
My husband and I have both grown up having had a pet in our households since we can remember. Then immediately after we got married, we continued our love of them. We got a Labrador, and have had 4 total throughout our marriage. The kids have always gotten & received so much love from our fur babies and still do. When they come home from college, they run inside to greet the dogs before even taking in their stuff. My mom has cats and I am immediately drawn to them as well. The cats are not very socialable but for some reason, they make their way over to me all the time.

Denise is incredible. I truly believe that she loves and takes care of our dog as if he was her own. She has a fenced in yard for play and takes our dog on long, beautiful walks. She is highly responsive and is comfortable with medications, special diets, etc…. Denise is a true gem!
Everything went great. First time our dog was watched outside of family.
Denise has always loved animals. As soon as she got married she got a dog and when she moved to her own house, she got two dogs. She has always had two dogs at a time since. I had to stay in her basement for two months during a transition from one house to another. Along with me were my nine cats. Denise helped take care of them and watched them for me while I was house hunting, closing and moving. I was in the hospital for a few days early this year and Denise came to my home and took care of my nine fur babies! She loves taking care of animals and would be a great asset to Rover.
I would highly recommend Denise to anyone who is looking for reliable and kind natured person to care for their pets. Denise’s own fur babies are a huge part of her life and family and it is clear how much they mean to her. I trust Denise completely with my two dogs, whether it be for a weekly walk or when my family is away on vacation for an extended period of time. I have peace of mind knowing that my dogs are always in good hands. One of my dogs does not warm up easily to other people or dogs so we have to be very selective about who choose to care for him. Denise handles him with confidence and ease and has the ability to make him feel less anxious and comfortable. Not an easy task! If you are looking for a reliable person with a big heart to care for your pets, look no further! Denise will not disappoint you!

I have a fenced back yard. I have 2 friendly energetic labs. They get along with other dogs very well. They meet many along some of the trails. And I’ve had family dogs stay at my house from time to time and they were all besties. I also have an area in my house which is gated so if one is too excited, I can separate very easily.

Just let me know if your fur baby likes to play with other dogs. I have two playful labs. But they can stay with my husband in his office or in the mudroom behind a gate if your dog would prefer not to socialize.
A typical day
I can walk your dog around my neighborhood, we could play ball or frisbee, they can also swim in the pool if they know how to and if they have any interest in doing so during the summer.

Availability
I am a stay at home mom..although my kids aren’t here right now. One is off at college and the older one has her own place. I love to take my 2 dogs for walks, hikes, or swims at the beach. I also have a pool and enjoy watching them swim.
