Hi my name is DeDe since retiring I've been spending time with my grandkids They are 11 yr. old twins, and have been begging me to get either a cat or dog (they have one of each, and I do care for them also). Grandma's not sure about the full time commitment, but would have time to commit to your fur baby, so what could be better? Of course taking care of your pet would be. I have always had either a cat or dog in my life, and that would be my experience. This granny needs to get out and do some walking too, so if that's what your dog wants that's what we'll do.
