Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that always had a variety of pets, from hamsters to horses, and have always had a deep love for animals. Having had to sadly say goodbye to our much loved Springer spaniel Roo last year, I now have time and care to spare for new animal friends. I am more than happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs for them to feel comfortable and secure in your absence. I have previous experience with tropical and cold water fish, small caged bird, snakes, bearded dragons, geckos, small rodents, rabbits, cats, dogs, and (some years ago) horses.

I have known Denise for many years and she's always been excellent at caring for animals especially dogs. She's sensible, and knowledgeable, and I'd always be happy to leave my pets in her care.
Denise is calm and practical, and able to manage stressful situations with quiet competence. She has a warm personality and her love and care for animals is clear. She shows endless patience, be it in dealing with nervous pets or when throwing tennis balls repeatedly. She has given both my attention seeking cat and dog all the attention they could ask for, even when they both asked at once.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Denise. She took excellent care of my dog when he was in the challenging puppy stage. She is a genuine dog-lover and is both responsible and an excellent provider of cuddles!
Denise is reliable, organised, thoughtful and kind. Our rescue dog Roxy loves her, and has always enjoyed both walking and snuggling on the sofa with her. Denise picked up Roxy's routine completely, which is comforting as Roxy can be very needy without us at home. As Roxy can sometimes be scared of other dogs when on a walk, Denise quickly understood her needs and was brilliant at keeping her away from situations she might find difficult. I trust Denise completely with our dog and highly recommend her as a pet sitter.

I am kind and gentle, but can be firm and unswayed by begging for treats, despite the cutest of faces. I drive a large enough vehicle to take your pets to any appointments they may have, and can accommodate a crate if required. I will respect your pets, your home, and your wishes.

I currently work freelance on street art events and community arts projects in my local area, which averages 1-2 days a week and much of my work can also be done remotely. I am therefore able to be quite flexible and can potentially stay away from home for 1-2 weeks at a time.
