The main reason that I became a pet sitter is to meet new furry friends and be around dogs more often! I love spending time with pups because they make me so happy, so getting to take care of them is a dream come true for me! I also became a sitter because I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best puppy friend, so getting to give back to the community by providing owners with peace of mind is very rewarding to me. (Also, I speak fluent Spanish and English, so I’m happy to work with lots of different clients!) I own 2 female Red Nose Pitbulls, who are the sweetest dogs of all time! They love to have new friends around the house and love to play. In the process of raising them, I also took classes about dog training and behavior and learned a lot about proper training techniques! Also, in addition to being a professional sitter, I’ve also volunteered at a farm in Puerto Rico and helped out with the animals there. I just love making sure that animals are happy and healthy! I do like to schedule a meet-and-greet with any new clients. It’s a great opportunity for us to make sure that we’re a good fit for one another, but it’s also a good chance for us to talk in-person about your expectations for the stay. I love to get as much information as I can about how you care for your dog (since no one knows them better than you do!) and get information from you, such as where their favorite park is, what their eating schedule is, and how I can spoil them the best! During a stay, I’ll always make sure that clients are always kept up to date on how their pup is doing and what we’ve done during the day. I always like to send pictures and videos to owners because it’s the best way to see how happy your pup is when they’re with me! I’ll always make sure that your pup is as happy and healthy as possible by making sure we get plenty of playtime and exercise in, in addition to keeping to their daily regimen.
