I am an avid dog lover and have had dogs all my life. I recently lost one of my beloved Boxers to cancer and spent 6 month caring for him. I learned so much about how to care for a sick dog and spent a lot of time at the pet emergency center. I saw so many beautiful dogs and owners that cared for their extended family members. I thought what a great way to help us dog lovers by offering to sit when you can't bring them with you!! We have a house in San Quentin Village, we have a nice back yard that is fully secure and a dog door for dogs to go in/out all day (although Rover dogs are kept safe in the house when I am at work). The bonus is the beach just down the street!! We spend lots of time there:then the hiking and trails in the north bay area are endless. Your extended family member will feel at home with me and have fun with a new playmate Bacchus my boxer!! Why I love dog sitting We have always had a dog in the family; our first dog was a Great Dane then a Dashound. My first dog in my apartment was a Rottie named Pride. He was very special to me, he lost a back leg to a tumor but survived to the age of 11. Then the boxers!! These guys are so much fun and require daily walks/hikes. About my yard Yes!! completely fenced in and grassy areas. Lots of places to lounge in the sun. Minimal view from the street. My experience administering medication Yes; haven't had much in the way of injections but comfortable to be shown.
