Pet care experience
My love of animals came from my father at a young age. I was responsible for my childhood dog, and instilled that love in my grown children with dogs and cats in our household over the last 25 years. As a retired teacher, I understand the trust that is placed in me when you leave your dog in my care. I know how important it is to me for my dog to be happy and feel safe when I am away. I hope to provide that for every dog and family. I have trained both of my dogs, using "The Great Courses"/Jean Donaldson-Academy for Dog Trainers and am happy to use or share this expertise with you and your dog. Your dog will get exercise and exceptional love and attention in my care.

Denise took amazing care of our pup while we were traveling. We received lots of pictures and our dog seemed she she had a great time staying with Denise. We will definitely be repeat customers!
Denise was absolutely amazing with our dog. She took him on multiple hikes and to dog parks in the area. When we picked him up he was nice and clean from a bath. He became buddies with Denise's dog and they enjoyed playing together. We will definitely be calling Denise next time we go outa town.
Denise did a great job caring for my dog. Willow is a new friend and we took the time to make sure they would get along. Denise took great measures to keep Roxie comfortable during her stay.

I have a huge yard which I am working on getting fenced in. Until that happens they will be on a leash or line in the back yard (which ever you prefer) Your dog will be part of our regular household unless you prefer to have them crated or on the sun porch.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs and feel that it is essential that a dog gets mental and physical exercise on a daily basis. We walk in the neighborhood or use nearby trails and parks to take care of these daily needs. If you are comfortable with the dog park we also like to spend time there. I like to play games (catch, fetch... whatever your dog likes or has been trained to do) and give lots of love and attention.

Availability
I am available daily to watch and care for your dog. I am active and enjoy walking on nearby trails. We also enjoy going to the dog park if you are comfortable with your dog being there. Dogs in my care will walk in the neighborhood, and/or nearby parks, and trails with my dog and I daily. They will be part of our daily routine, unless you specify otherwise.
