I love animals of all kinds especially dogs. I've always had a dog since I was a little girl. I've adopted several rescues. Often with issues to over come. Unfortunately I’m not in a position to own my own dog so I decided to join Rover com. I have so much love to give and I believe animals sense that. Most animals are very comfortable around me. Wether it be a beautiful skunk I got to play with in the park, or an adorable rescued squirrel my friend raised. Whenever my friends had to go away. I was always happy and willing to take care of their pets. It can be a very stressful time for your pet to stay at a kennel. Allowing your pet to stay in his/her own home continuing with their daily schedule is a special gift. Having that piece of mind that your fur babies and your home are in good hands helps relieve the stress of leaving them. I’m 55, physically fit, strong and very responsible. I have no problem walking two dogs at a time. I give my personal guarantee that I will do everything in my power to keep your animal safe and comfortable while you are away. I can sent you daily reports and pictures if you wish. Also I will respect your home as if it was my own leaving it nice and clean.

We cannot express how grateful we are for Denise! Anyone nervous about leaving your 4 legged kids should reach out to Denise. We felt very comfortable with Denise when we had the meet and greet. It only got better as she understood the anxiety both parent and pet have when separated and did a fantastic job of keeping us in the loop with texts and pictures. We would receive a random text throughout the day saying “everything is great and we just got back from a walk” or something similar. Really made our short trip enjoyable. We are so glad to have met Denise and now knowing if we need to leave, our kids are in excellent hands. Thank you again, Denise!
Denise was AMAZING with our dog while we were away! She kept us updated with everything and gave meds without issue! She cleaned our place before she left as well. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to house sit!
Denise is great with our high energy puppies! She communicates consistently, gets them out on walks, and accommodates their special needs! She also takes great care of the house!
I highly recommend Denise as a pet sitter. She did a great job taking care of our pets and keeping in touch with us with pictures and texts. We had just moved into a new house when we left on vacation. Denise was sensitive to our dogs’ anxiety and worked to put them at ease. We returned to a house of happy pets, excited to see us. Dog walking only. I am only doing substitute dog walking. If your dog walker is going on vacation or is sick and I’m available, I usually spend an hour with a walk and some play time. I can do 1 day or several days as needed. Dog sitting is in your home as to keep the same schedule your dog is used to. Wether it be a puppy, an older dog, large, small, I love them all. I will arrange a meet and greet in advance in your home so you can tell me about your dog and the special little things you share with your fur baby. I will do my best to give them that special touch that you give to them. It’s important that you and your pups are 100 percent comfortable with me. So please feel free to ask any questions. I have have no problem giving a puppy the extra time and care a little one needs. I also have experience giving medication (shots/pills). An elderly dog needs lots of love, kindness and patience which I love to give.
A typical day
Depending on the dog. An active dog needs a great deal of attention. Walks, playing ball, running in back yard. A shy timid dog may just need to know someone is there and a comforting pat or belly rub.

Availability
I’m retired so I have a very flexible schedule. I can very easily pack a bag and come and stay in your home with your animals giving them as much attention as they need. I offer walks 2-3 times a day or playing ball in the back yard. If you have an energetic pup that does the trails. I know some great ones. Taking a dog on hiking trail will only be done after a certain conversation with the owner.
