Pet care experience
I don't consider animals as pets, I consider them as family! I have 2 yellow labs that I raised as puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Sadly, these two did not want to 'work' and much prefer the career-changed lifestyle as my companions. I work from home so I'm available during the day for drop-in visits, walks and staying with your pet during the day.

Really did a great job taking care of Sophie. Denise kept me updated throughout the weekend, and was good at sending pictures as well.
Denise was amazing. From the minute she met our fur babies, she made them feel at ease, and not skittish like usual. She house sat with our pups, and treated our home with the utmost respect. Would highly recommend.
Denise was great with Ginger. She walked her, trained with her a bit, and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. I knew Ginger was taken care of. Absolutely recommend.
Denise is a very caring person who loves dogs, both her own and others. She trained dogs for Guide Dogs for the Blind, using her patience and kindness to work with puppies at the first stages of their training. Denise loves the outdoors, hiking and walking with her dogs. She is a trusting and wonderful pet caregiver, and I highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies!

Because we have 2 dogs already, all pet care would need to be done in your home. I'm happy to stay overnight if needed, or just drop by for breakfast/dinner, walks, etc.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or triggers. I'd like to know any details or instructions for feeding and/or medication your pet may need so I can provide the best service for them and you! I'd also love to know your pets favorite playtime activities and typical daily routines so I can try to keep things as normal for them as possible.
A typical day
I like to start the morning with snuggles, morning potty break and then breakfast. Usually within about an hour of eating, we'll go out for a short walk and get some exercise in, both for their body and their mind. The morning is usually pretty lazy but lots of breaks for playtime when/if needed. A tired doggo is a happy doggo! Dinner in the evening followed by another walk after and one last trip outside to potty and then to bed!
