Pet care experience
Welcome! I am Denise. My housemate is Buddy, an English Cream Golden Retriever. I am retired from teaching and Buddy is retired from Golden Creek Kennels stud duties. We are both social creatures and would like to share some time and our home , a beautiful townhome in N. Raleigh. We are both 'laid back' love to entertain. Our interests are long walks through our lovely wooded neighborhood, then for Buddy a long nap, reading or landscape painting and a cup of hot tea for me. We enjoy our outdoor decks and privacy fenced garden in the evening, watching sun set and birds get their final snack. I enjoy hosting one doggie guest at a time and make that visit my priority. Denise, Thank you for taking such good care of Daisy. It is such a good feeling to know that she is in good hands when she stays with you and Buddy. We appreciate all the pictures you send us of Daisy when we leave her with you. We are so lucky to have found such a kind and loving person to watch our little Daisy. What an amazing host!
Copper had a wonderful stay with Denise! I got daily updates on how he was doing along with photos, and he seemed quite content while I was away. It's always great to come home to a happy pup! Denise even sent pumpkin treats home with us to help with digestion! As always, very pleased with our experience and will rebook in the future!

Please tell me about your dogs temperament, ie: Jack Russell, 'always ready to party", or like my English Cream Golden, 'Is it nap time yet?', or some where in between. If they have any quirks or foibles. My dog is 'freaked out' by the sound of large plastic trash bags!

My dog 'sitting' style, I would call it 'laid-back. Dogs will be dogs. I can be firm, if need be, but do not believe in or condone any form of physical discipline or shaming.
