Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Denicke, 25 and from South Africa but I currently live on Long Island as I am studying here. I have always had a love for all animals and treat them all with equal care and respect. I have 10 plus years experience taking care of dogs, cats and other animals. Since 13 years of age I have taken care and 'dogsat' neighbors and friends dogs and cats when they went on holidays. I have also taken them to parks, on walks or to the grooming salon. I have 2 cats and a dog - a German Shorthaired pointer (very big and full of energy!). I have experience with very large dogs to very small dogs. I don't have any allergies and I am very comfortable and loving around animals.

I have a fence at my house and usually let my dog out once or twice an hour so that he can run around, get some sunlight and see what the postmen are up to :) I also always leave a window open for my cats so that they can come and go as they wish (this only started recently when they turned 8 months old). I usually give my dog a bone marrow treat once a day and always take him for a walk at least once a day, mostly twice (as he has so much energy!). I would take care of your animals in the same safe way and make sure they are in a welcoming, loving environment.

A typical day
I like to be interactive with your pets and cater to their needs, taking into account their age and if they have any special needs. I like playing games with them such as fetch, with their toys or patting them and giving them the much needed loving attention!

I would be able to help out on weekdays (Mon - Fri) from 10:00am until 2:30pm. I am available any time on Saturdays and Sundays.
