Pet care experience
**PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining.

Denetra was wonderful and it was a smooth & easy process from the initial meet & greet throughout the entire stay. She was responsive and provided daily updates. I found her in a pinch ahead of the July 4th weekend. She was a life saver and Duke seemed to settle in with her immediately! #dogwhisperer
I had a great experience leaving my pup with Denetra over the weekend! My pup is a bit shy but quickly warmed up to her. I got pictures throughout the stay and she was super attentive and my pup had a great time!

I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

*At least 1 week notice request (preferably) *Need to do an initial FREE meet up (preferably) *Provide food, snacks, toys, crate/playpen, leash *Potty-trained (house-trained) and non-aggressive *breed is helpful to familiarize myself with them (taken care of miniature schnauzers, terrier mix, shih tzu/lhasa apso mix, pit/lab mix, boxer, Boston terrier, mini dachshund, Welsh Corgi mix, and toy poodle, poodle/Bichon Frise mix, shepherd/beagle mix, Cairn terrier mix), French Bulldog.
A typical day
Play throw and fetch with toys, dance with them, spend time walking around the yard. Every once in awhile I'll think of something unique to get their attention (like played soccer with doggy toy and laundry basket, or do hide and seek with blanket.

I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time.
