I had the opportunity to mentor under an animal behaviorist during my time there, so I do a little bit of training and know how to keep dogs engaged. I graduated with my degree in Animal Science from K-State so animals are my life and I worked years to get to where I am today. Not only do I keep dogs engaged but I enjoy teaching them new tricks as well as rewarding with positive reinforcement. I currently work as a Veterinary Assistant, but before I went into the veterinary world, I worked in Behavior at Wayside Waifs, where I specialized in shy and fearful dogs, but also had the opportunity to work with high energy dogs and work on their impulse control. Currently I am studying to get my Professional Dog Trainers License and can offer services for that as well.
