Pet care experience
In January 2019 I fostered a litter of puppies and their mama, I was blessed with one of them and have been diligently working on raising up a good pup ever since. He is now 10 months old and has totally changed my life. We go for walks and doggy talks 3 times a day most days. He is so friendly and funny and social. I would love to add more dogs to our walks to satisfy the need for a pack. Dogs need other dogs. dog walks make us happy! Our routine is first, 15-20 minutes play to get the energy out, fetching or with the bicycle, and then a 20-30 minute leash walk, with feeding after and then they are ready for a nap! We also love kitties. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on and off for the past 20 something years. We play with younger dogs and the older dogs teach him how to be calm. No breed preference. I would need to know if your dog can be off leash and respond when it’s time to go. I will have my dog sit before I take his leash off, do you? How long of a play and walk would you like them to have, will they already have been fed or will I feed them after, is there any dog or people aggression?
A typical day
Right now we stay in midtown so we’ll often walk down to the river and in desperate measures, we’ll explore that new funny downtown dog park. It’s a hit or miss.

Availability
at This point, I am working part time and have a flexible schedule for the most part. I’m hoping that as I grow in this, I will be able to firm up a regular schedule. Right now we are out every morning around 9 and I try to be out an hour before sunset. Depending on the day, we will do earlier and later evening walks. I use the lakeside dog park, Plumas Park, Chrissy caughlin, and rancho. We do of leash hikes at least once or twice a week. If I can get this gig going, I would love to set up regular hiking with small packs. Though I do love off leash hiking I find leash walking before eating so valuable for good behavior. I also have a van so we could pick dogs up to take them on adventures
