Overnight pet/house sitting Monday thru Sunday in your own home - 7:30am - 6pm*. Pet checks during the day available within 15 miles of 92109. I can stop by on my lunch hour if you are within 10 minutes of 92109. Note: Please contact me to make special arrangements for your home/pet if you are more than 15 miles away! If your pet's are able to come and go during the day without supervision, I am the Pet-Sitter for you. Note: Boarding available in my home Friday and Saturday nights thru Sunday evening- when you would pick up your pet. Pets must get along with 2-cats & 1-dog that live in our home. We can make special arrangements ahead of time if you need to drop your pet off the Thursday before you depart. My experience of 20+ years is the key to my success. I book my clients by word of mouth for the most part. I am very hands on and highly experienced. It's a huge part of who I am, it's part of my DNA. Animal Care is why I am here on this earth - it's my calling. It's not just a way to make additional money - I love working with the animals and getting to know their families. It's much more than just pet or house sitting. My experience began early as a child when my Dad adopted two dogs. We then had horses up in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego and it did not end there. We always had at least four dogs in our home at a time. Horses and dogs go well together! I had managed all the daily care and travel for our horses and people started asking me to care for their horses and pets while they traveled. It has been all up hill from there! Nothing makes me feel better when people start out stressed leaving their pets only to tell me, "You are the only person I feel safe leaving my pet's with!" That is priceless to me. The Animal Behaviorist/Scientists I work with during the day also give me insight to use when working with animals and that so very helpful. I do tend to have a way with most animals especially the ones who are not so outgoing. Ones who have anxiety or are skittish around new people and situations. I believe that intuitively, the animals read my body language and know that they are safe. Animals are very intuitive and so am I. When I come to stay in your home I don't need to stay in your private bedroom. I happily bring along my air mattress, linens, towels, food and so on. I will leave your house just as clean as you left it. I am responsible for your pet and your home. I will take very good care of both. I do a walk thru to check all doors and windows before I leave and do another walk thru when I return. I will need to know if you have any other persons/staff with access to your home while I am staying there. I used to be a Facility Assistant, so securing your home is priority along with your pets. I have excellent references (please ask!) and I come highly qualified. I have solid experience administering oral med's to both large and small animals. I do have those who can administer insulin shots at an additional charge for their service. I work daily 8:30 to 5:00pm with Scientists, animal behaviorists, and veterinarians from which I learn even more and apply it to helping care for your four legged family members!
