Hi there! I'm Dena, 38 year old, non-smoker, part time student & working professional working from home M-F. I recently bought my home in 2018 with a fenced in yard so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to have furry friends visit me! I got my own pup March 2020 and we're now best friends!! Violet is 1.5yrs old a pittie/boxer/bulldog mix adopted from MN Pitbull. Our daycare says she is the typical bully breed with the wrestling play style. She likes to play with all sizes of dogs but prefers larger dogs. I have MANY years of experience primarily in home dog/house/child sitting. People trust me with their children (and dogs of course) overnight! References available upon request! I have stayed with a friend's pets for greater than a week in the past. I have a small home and a fully fenced in yard, I will only take one pup at a time for now due to small space. However, if you have 2 pups in your family, I will definitely consider that and adjust rates accordingly, just send me a message! I work traditional day hours from home, so my weekday schedule would be loosely like this: Friends get let out a few times in the morning and breakfast, and I head to the desk for the day. My schedule is flexible so we can go outside for potty several times during the day, relax in the sun on the deck. We would go for a long walk either before or after dinner in a nice residential neighborhood in St. Paul. Then my friends can help with homework or relax together for the evening with Violet and I. Clean paws are welcome to snuggle in bed or if you prefer a crate at night that would work too! (BYOC bring your own crate) Weekends are casual and offer more time for fun and interaction! My friends should tell me if they like dog parks and if they like to play well with others. Other dog friends could come and visit at my house too, especially a friendly 40lb mix named Opal, she's the best! We could go on a car ride too, we have a small SUV so plenty of room in the back. I will be in and out on the weekends, going to the gym and running errands but if the weather is nice, we will be doing yard work, playing catch and tug of war or relaxing on the enclosed porch. We have one resident male cat here. He isn't too sure about dogs, but he keeps his distance when he's not interested. He will keep to the basement if he's not feeling social. I have never had any issues in the past and after a few days, everyone acclimates to each other! Please ask if you have any questions!
