Pet care experience
My partner Chris and I both grew up surrounded by pets - from cats and dogs to turtles and ferrets, we've loved them all. Over the years we have been trusted with many family pets with a range of needs, including reactivity, puppy/kitten or senior care and more. We have our own 2yo Schnauzer, Dottie, who keeps us on our toes and active daily. She has lived in 3 states and made a cross country move in her short life, successfully fitting in wherever we take her. Dottie loves other cats and dogs just like we do, though she can come on strong with cats ;)

We’re so grateful to Dena and Chris! We typically feel a little nervous with Rover sitters but felt totally comfortable and confident leaving our dogs and home in their care for almost 10 days. Dogs seemed totally relaxed and well taken care of with lots of exercise - and we came home to a sparkling clean house!
Dena and Chris took such great care of our beloved dog Buddy. We felt very comfortable knowing our house and dog were being well taken care of. We came home to a very happy dog and clean home. We’ll definitely be using Dena and Chris again in the future.

We both take pet sitting very seriously and after our initial meet and greet we will be sure to follow care instructions precisely. We believe daily exercise should include physical, mental and sensory stimulation. It is our goal to ensure the pets in our care feel secure and can stick to their daily routines - especially when their favorite humans are out of town. We only believe in positive reinforcement and are very in tune with an animal's body language so that we can anticipate their needs. We hope to meet your furry family member(s) soon and shower them with love!

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs or triggers ahead of time so we can always be prepared. Whether your dog requires special need care, is reactive or exhibits resource guarding, we just want to make sure we set them up for success.
A typical day
We love to take our dog on adventure's outside of the neighborhood, but will do what your dog is most comfortable with. We will provide many games and stimulating activity that involves play and new scents, dependent on your dog's needs. We are very close to Golden Gardens and love to explore there often.

Availability
Both Chris and I work remotely and have a fair amount of flexibility in our schedules when it comes to pet sitting. We can easily accommodate a drop-in or walk most times of the day. We won't both always be available, but working as a team guarantees one of us is always here for you.
