Pet care experience
My name is Delores and I am currently a master's student at UCSB. My dog Felix crossed the rainbow bridge a couple years ago and I miss him like crazy, but as a student I recognize that I am not in the position to provide a pet a fruitful life at this time. However, that doesn't mean I can't help others with their fur babies! I have dog sat and house watched for friends when they leave on week long vacations. Whether it is feeding, washing, walking, playing, or just simply relaxing with dogs, I am more than happy to do it. I love going on walks with dogs, playing with them, or just simply spending time and hanging out with them. I can't wait to get to know you and your furry best friend!

Delores is absolutely amazing! She is always the first person I call when I need someone to take care of my dogs and she is never to disappoint! She has helped me so much with taking care of them. She sends me updates, pictures, and anything you could ask for when you miss your dogs! She is very friendly and very hardworking. She's fantastic with dogs and a great person all around. As a paranoid person, I always double, triple, and quadruple check to make sure that everything and everyone is accounted for. If I'm house-sitting, I will always make sure that all doors are locked, alarms are on, and dogs are inside before turning down for the night. On walks, I am equipped with alarms and pepper spray for my own personal safety as well as the safety of your pets. I won't let dogs off leash unless they are in a safe and appropriate area and I am confident in the dog's recall abilities.

It is always helpful to know your dog's temperament around other people and dogs so that I am prepared for those situations. In addition, I need to know if your dog obeys commands in order to ensure the safety of your dog and myself.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on nice long walks and exploring new places so that they can experience new things. I always love walking along the beach and if your pup loves the ocean, I promise I will give them a bath so that they don't drag any nastiness back into the house. I love making enrichment toys for dogs in order to promote healthy mental stimulation.

I can fit pet drop ins or walks before, between or after my classes. I would love to take your furry kids onto campus so they could get the college experience!
