Pet care experience
I am a medical student who works from home. I have a mini golden doodle at home with my parents outside Vancouver and I love him more than anything in the world. Currently we cant commit to adopting our own dog so I joined rover to take care of other dogs in a loving and healthy home :) I have a super calm and loving cat who will get along with other calm dogs. We can do a 5-minute meet and greet to make sure they get along! I will take your dog to the park on Pacific and Smithe to play, run around, get lots of petting, and come home ready to sleep! They will be free to roam around the house, and cuddle with us on the couch/bed. I’m also very careful and aware so safety will definitely be my priority. I’ll be home the whole time so they’ll never be alone + I’ll supervise them closely when we go out. You’ll also get lots of videos and pictures daily!

This was the second time we used Della. Our dog was so excited to see her even though he had been with her only one night before. This time we were away for 10 days. Lots of photos and videos are a very happy dog!
Della was amazing, sent videos and photos everyday! She was super flexible with taking the dog and made sure he had fun at the park!
The communication with Della was great. Drop-off and pickup was perfect. Tilda? told me that she had an amazing and fun time!
Della was an amazing dog sitter! Sent daily photos and videos of Dexter and was very responsive. She took such great care of Dexter and I have full confidence in her abilities to love and care for any animal that is fortunate to be looked after by her.

Safety is my number one priority. I have experience with on and off leash dogs for outside care, and at home, I just provide a warm and nice environment so they feel comfortable. I don’t restrict them from the bed or couch (unless advised to) and let them have fun. I also perform some training to optimize their trust in me.

A typical day
Play and chase, cuddle up and get treats, stay fed and hydrated, and get some fresh air :) we will be running and chasing each other around the house and getting treats.

I’m home full time so your pet will never be alone. Parks are routine and I always play with my younger pets for a minimum of 30 minutes up to 1.5 h daily!
