Pet care experience
I have been working with animals since I was a very young. I started in 4-H showing dogs and training them. I grew up with many animals and when I was old enough I began working in vet clinics, human societies, and pet resorts/boarding services. When working in a vet clinic/humane society I did help with medical exams, surgeries, and other medical needs. I have gone to school to become a certified dog trainer which I would be happy to help with basic training or behavioral problems if. I have 2 Springer Spaniel, 2 cats and I am good with most animals.

Delilah has been helping me take care of my pets for a few years. I trust her completely. She is extremely caring and wonderful with animals. My dog loves her. She watched my dog many times while my husband was going through cancer treatment. She has been a godsend to me. She is kind, trustworthy and reliable.
Heather has been pet sitting for my animals (dogs, cats and rabbits) for several years. She is trustworthy and responsible. My pets have been cared for physically but Heather also spends time with them to make them feel secure and loved while I’m away. I like that she has worked in veterinary care also. She spends extra time with my aging animals and if vet care is needed while I’m away, she handles it.

When entering your home, I look at the animals demeanor. I make sure if the animal greets me I do no allow them to leave the house without proper safety equipment on, such as a leash, if they are even allowed to leave the home. If care for them in a cage, such as a rabbit, I will take all precautions not to allow them to escape.

I would like to meet the dog ahead of time. I would need to know if they are allergic to anything, vets office you use, if they are up to date on shots, are they people/animal friendly, do they prefer to walk around the yard or do they like to walk down the street. Mainly basic information.
A typical day
If I am walking them, I will walk them around the yard or the road if safe. If they are in a fenced in yard, I could play fetch with them or just let them do what they want.
