Before sitting, I do ask that owners tell me a little about their dog, such as personality quirks or habits so I can make sure the dog is unstressed as possible and I know what to expect! Certain types of aggression are fine (ex: food aggression), as long as I am aware of them beforehand! The most important thing for me to know about a dog is how good they are with other dogs and people. I want to avoid putting the dog, myself, or anybody else at risk, so knowing any potential issues goes a long way to make sure everybody is safe! I don't require dogs be specifically trained for anything such as crate trained, but I do prefer that dogs know how to walk on a leash somewhat respectfully. I'm super easygoing and I can make pretty much anything work as long as I know about it ahead of time! Feel free to contact me even if your dog doesn't fit a requirement (such as housebreaking) and I'll be more than happy to work with you and try to create an arrangement that works for both of us!

I live within 30 minutes of many beaches, dog parks, light trails, state parks, and several downtown areas. I take dogs on walks around their neighborhood unless otherwise specified or approved by the owner to take them farther (like a walk on a local trail). It's really up to the owner what they'd like me to do, but I do prefer that owners give me a heads up beforehand if they'd like me to take their dog farther than walking distance from home! That way I can plan my time with the dog better, and make sure that we're going somewhere both the owner and I are comfortable taking the dog.
